Step 1: The Imaginative Design Consultation
Creating these tale-telling portraits requires a different approach than most portrait commissions. While focusing on your child and “who” they are, we also tap their imagination, embrace their desires, and maybe bring their wildest dreams to life. The final concept will drive all of the details for your portrait experience.
Step 2: The Portrait Session: Creating Your Child’s Story
To bring your child’s Storybook Moments Portrait to life, they will – for a moment – live what their imagination creates, being themselves as if nobody was watching.
Step 3: The Selection & Final Concept Design
Just a few days after your child’s portrait session, we will review the artwork created and help design the perfect display for your home.” Because these are “fanciful’ portraits, we will also discuss alterations to the image to really bring their story to life.
Step 4: Reveal & Professional Installation
We take painstaking care in crafting your child’s portrait to the highest standards. When your commission is complete, we will arrange for the delivery and installation in your home, as well as a portrait reveal. Some families make an event out of the reveal, maybe even hosting a reveal party. Others simply choose to relish in their own enjoyment of their new custom artwork.
