Why I Became A Family Portrait Photographer
I’ve been a photographer for most of my life. My first camera arrived as a gift when I was just 4 years old, and I’ve been carrying it around ever since (well, not the same one – but you get the idea). Over the years, I have created tens of thousands of photographs.

I display many of my photographs in my home, and each one holds special meaning for me. One of my favorite photographs shows two male lions – brothers most likely – in the Serengeti. I’ve sold prints of this photograph that now hang in other people’s homes.

The people who purchased that photograph did so because they liked it, the color suited their home, or they simply love lions – but it holds no special meaning for them. When you get down to it, it’s just a photograph of some lions.
However, that particular image has great meaning for me because it reminds me of a very special time with family. It brings to mind the great stories and the memorable adventure we had together. It was a life-changing experience, and that photograph reminds me of it all.
I share this because random art, although beautiful, rarely connects with our hearts the way family portraits do.

This is part of the reason I decided to focus primarily in family portraits. No other piece of artwork has special meaning quite like that of a family portrait. They remind us of a specific time in our journey, and fill us with pride, love, and a sense of accomplishment.
You may not have portraits made very often, but I create them every day. I will guide your family through every step of your portrait experience – from shaping your portrait vision to installing the finished artwork. My process leaves no detail to chance.
I do this for you, your family, and for your family’s future generations.
